Taye grew up on the clifftops of Tangier where the Atlantic and Mediterranean meet and every sunset looks like something you'd want to paint.

He joined the Juicebox Pirates accidentally - returning a telescope to a ship that turned out to be The Luma Tide. When Captain Scott told him the crew needed a lookout, he accepted the role without a word and turned his gaze toward the next horizon. Taye doesn't miss things. He spots what's coming before anyone else has looked up.

If you have diabetes, being a good lookout matters. Catching a trend early, noticing something feels off before the number confirms it, staying ahead of the curve - that's exactly what Taye does from the crow's nest.
