Rivet

The Workshop Heart

Birthplace: Ohio, USA

Invented By: Thomas Edison

Rivet came to life in Thomas Edison's workshop in Milan, Ohio, in a burst of sound and light from an experiment on a new light bulb design.

He joined the Bolt Buddies as the crew's cheerful builder - round, sturdy, always a little smudged from work, and absolutely unshakeable when things go wrong. Rivet doesn't just fix things. He makes them better than they were before, and he laughs the whole time he's doing it.

His motto has always been the same: if the first try doesn't work, that's not failure. That's just the wrong direction. Try a different one.

If you have diabetes, some days things just don't go the way you planned. Numbers surprise you. Plans change. Rivet reminds you that setbacks are part of the process, not the end of it. Every adjustment you make is a sign that you're building something stronger - and that's worth celebrating.

Every wrong turn is still one step closer to the solution.
