Shipping Details and Terms

  • Orders usually ship in 1-3 business days unless the website announcement bar lists a shipping delay. Because our shipping system is highly automated, some orders begin processing within minutes of the order being placed. Because of this, we cannot guarantee an order placed with an incorrect address can be modified before shipping.
  • Economy/USPS First Class Standard Post shipping typically delivers in
    • USA: 4-8 Business Days
    • Canada: 2-3 Weeks
    • EU: 1-3 Weeks
    • UK: 2-3 Weeks
    • Australia/New Zealand: 1 Week
    • Rest of World: 4-12 Weeks
    • This timing is not guaranteed and we highly recommend Express for orders outside the USA/EU/AU.
  • USPS Priority typically delivers in
    • USA: 3-5 Business Days
  • Express/FedEx/UPS typically delivers in
    • USA: 2-3 Business Days
    • UK: 1-2 Weeks
    • Rest of World: 3-7 days
  • Transit times listed are based on the ship date, not the order date. The day an order is shipped is Day 0.
  • Situations outside of our control such as postal strikes, weather, wars, COVID-19, and disruptions to transit and logistics may cause delays. Delivery time is not guaranteed.
  • Import Tax, Tariffs, and/or Duty is what your country charges for a product you purchase. Any fees are your government’s charges to you and not part of the shipping cost. CustomTypeOne ships to over 150 countries, so it is not feasible for us to track local import laws, duties, and taxes for each country. Some countries also require that we, as the shipper, pay your import tax if the shipment is returned to us. Depending on taxes and return shipping costs, you may not receive a refund if the shipment is refused or undeliverable and returned to us if this happens.
  • If you refuse the shipment or it is returned unclaimed from failure to pay import duty/VAT/GST, we will issue a refund minus shipping costs and a 15% restocking fee if the item is received back by us in the same condition as it was shipped. Deductions may need made for any damaged items or import tax paid on your behalf.
  • USA/CA Express services cannot deliver to PO Boxes or APO Addresses. We will ship with USPS if “PO Box” or APO is entered for your shipping address and you selected Express. However, Express can deliver to private mail center boxes. If only "Box" or “PMB” is listed for your address, it will ship by Express if selected during checkout.
  • In some instances, Express cannot be used for other addresses due to no daily delivery routes to the area resulting in excessive surcharges for a dedicated driver. If this happens, we will automatically ship by the closest cost method which may extend the delivery time.
  • If you have errors or omissions in your shipping address that cause an item to be delivered to the wrong location or returned, we are only able to ship again if we receive the package returned to us. If you do not reply to emails asking for a corrected address, your order will be refunded minus shipping costs, 5% non-refundable credit card fees, and any costs to replace items damaged in transit. Unfortunately, packages not returned to us cannot be refunded or shipped again.
  • If tracking says your shipment was delivered but you cannot find it, you must contact us within 5 days for us to be able to investigate and find a resolution. Unfortunately, if you do not contact us within 5 days, it is not possible to still run package tracing and we cannot offer a refund or replacement shipment without additional costs due to the likelihood that it was porch theft from a package sitting outside for so long.
