Zuzu

Zuzu was born on the summit of Haleakalā in Maui in a burst of light so bright it could be seen from miles away - a swirl of magenta mist and sparkles outshining the sunrise itself.

She joined the Fuzzle Friends as the one who makes every cloud brighter just by being in it. She loves everything instantly, talks faster than the wind, and once tried to outshine lightning. The lightning lost, briefly.

But even joy can run too hot. One day she spun herself into exhaustion, her glow flickering unevenly across the dawn. That's when Puff found her and said quietly, "Joy is supposed to glow, not blaze." She laughed, a little weakly, and replied, "I know, I know! I just have so many ideas!" She's been learning rhythm ever since.

If you have diabetes, a very high glucose number needs attention even when you feel okay. Zuzu reminds you that too much sparkle in the sky isn't always how it looks - sometimes everything seems fine while something underneath needs to be addressed. Catching an urgent high early, responding before it climbs further, and bringing things back into balance is exactly what Zuzu learned to do. The sparkle comes back. You just have to let it settle first.
